Job description

We are seeking a Plumbing Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist experienced plumbers by providing support during plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance. While you will not be performing the plumbing work directly, your help will be vital in ensuring smooth and efficient operations on job sites. This position offers valuable exposure to the plumbing industry and the opportunity to contribute to our ongoing success.

 

Responsibilities:


  • Assist plumbers with daily tasks on job sites, including handing tools, preparing materials, and organizing work sites.
  • Help with transporting and setting up equipment and materials for plumbing tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure that tools and equipment are properly stored.
  • Follow instructions from plumbers to ensure efficient and effective task completion.
  • Monitor job site safety and cleanliness at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, office staff, and customers to support job site activities.
  • Ensure the proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Contribute to the successful completion of residential and commercial plumbing projects by assisting with various hands-on duties as directed.


Requirements:


  • Must be enrolled or be willing to enroll in a plumbing apprenticeship program.
  • CT driver's license required and must have a clean DMV record.
  • Professionalism, strong work ethic, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to maintaining a high level of integrity.
  • Able to consistently meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with precision.
  • Willingness to travel to various job sites (100% travel required).
